For this project, you'll create a song using the website Soundtrap. It is free for the rest of the school year! You can make any kind of song, and you don't have to record anything - you can just use their built-in sounds if you'd like.

- Click Join as a Student

Here's how to get started making your first song:

- Go to Soundtrap for Education
- Click Login in the upper right-hand corner
- Click "Login with Google"
- Enter your school email and password
- Once in, click on "Enter Studio"
- Choose Music
- Now you're ready to make your song! Follow the directions the videos above gave to create something amazing!

When you're done, you'll need to export your song:

- First, give your song a name if you haven't already. To do this, look on the top of the screen for "Untitled song."
- Click on "Untitled song" and type in the title you want instead.
- Then, on the top of the screen, click File > Export > Export Project to wav file (FYI - wav files are better quality than mp3s)

- Open the week's assignment in Google Classroom
- Click the Add or create button on the upper right-hand side
- Choose File
- Find the saved song on your computer. It should end with .wav. You just need to submit 1 song.
- Lastly, click Turn in!
