Description

For this project, you'll watch 3 of the free (only for the month of April) Nikon photography school courses. Each video is around 40 minutes long. During each of those videos, you'll take note of 3 things you learn using a Google Doc file linked below.

Requirements

Watch these three videos:
- Fundamentals of Photography
- Environmental Portraiture
- Photographing Children and Pets
Take notes on each of the videos - 3 things you learn from each - in a Google Doc.

STEP 1: SIGN UP

To access the videos, you need to sign up to watch them. It's free, follow these steps:

Go to the Nikon Photography School website HERE.
Click the play button in the middle of the video on the top (look at the image to the right)
Sign up - you can use your school email. Uncheck the box under email so you don't get annoying emails from them!
Once you're signed up, the top area will show the videos on the right side - just click to view!

STEP 2: COPY GOOGLE DOC

While you watch the videos, you need to take notes on things you learn. Make a copy of Mrs. Prosser's template by following these steps:

CLICK HERE to get to the Google Doc you'll need.
Next, go to File > Make a Copy
Once the new copy opens, click on the title in the upper left-hand corner and rename the file: [Your Name] Photography School Notes

STEP 3: WATCH + TAKE NOTES

There are many videos available, but you only need to watch the three listed in the notes document you just made a copy of. Watch each of those 3 videos and take notes on the right side. You need at least 3 things you learned from each video.

STEP 4: SUBMIT

To submit your work:

Open the week's assignment in Google Classroom
Click the Add or create button on the upper right-hand side
Choose Google Drive
Select the photography school notes you've been working on. It should come up in the recent files.
Lastly, click Turn in!
